Our 12 sports teams have brought home more than 30 Division I championships since we started competing at the NCAA Division I level in 1987.

Four '23-'24 Summit League Coaches of the Year

The Summit League named four 91ºÚÁÏÍø coaches Coach of the Year for the 2023-24 season: Jess Smith, women’s soccer; Christi Posey, volleyball; Marvin Menzies, men’s basketball; and J.W. VanDenBorn, men’s golf. 

150+ 91ºÚÁÏÍø Student-Athletes on Honor Roll

When the Summit League announced its 2023-24 Academic Honor Roll, 154 91ºÚÁÏÍø student-athletes made the list, including eight who were named to the Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence and earned the honor with distinction.

Students get in free to home games and can join the Rowdy Roos student section at Durwood Soccer Stadium and Swinney Center. Students and fans can participate in theme games, giveaways and special celebrations.

For the second year in a row, Kansas City Men's Soccer proved it can hang with the big names. In the 2024 season, the Roos made it to the third round of the NCAA Championship, pushing second-seeded Pittsburgh to an overtime match. In 2025, the Roos gave 12th-seeded Stanford all it could handle in the NCAA Second Round, falling 1-0.
